Canas Printing
Canvas Printing is an increasingly popular way of really making the most of your favourite photos or designs. Here at 1ClickPrint we use the latest print technologies to ensure that your canvas print will last a life time. Our Canon UV stable pigment inks are rated for 75 years without fading, even when exposed to regular bright light. Our frames are hand made by our in house craftsman to meet the dimensions of each order. No pre packed stretcher bars, just individual quality products.
Canvas printing, custom canvas and photo to canvas products are available in two fundamental styles. Firstly there is the standard print with the whole of the image on the front of the canvas print with plain sides. This is a popular finish with the only disadvantage being that as the canvas print is stretched a couple of millimetres of the image will sometimes be visibile on the side of the frame. Our trained framers will always try to compensate by balancing the position of the canvas on the frame to ensure any spill over is spread evenly and therefore minimised.
The second canvas printing style is the gallery wrap. This is increasingly popular but also the most misunderstood style. The image is printed 3 inches larger that the chosen frame size which means that when mounted it wraps around the frame. No blank canvas is visible but the outermost 1.5 inches on each edge will be on the side of the frame and therefore no visible from the front. The biggest danger here is that customer provide images that have important elements (for example the top of someones head or their feet) near the edge of the image. This means that when it's wrapped around the frame the image will look a little strange with half a head missing. The basic rule is that anything you want to see should be more than 1.5 inches form the edge of the image. Because we use the same thickness frame for all of our canvas printing this rule applies no matter the size of your canvas print.
Our printed flyer sizes range from credit card size to A4 and we are able to provide both digital flyer printing and litho (sometimes called offset) flyer printing. Our fast turnaround times mean that we can often get your flyers printed and delivered to you even when other print companies can't.
